Mr. Adeola Alain Patrick

Adeola Alain Patrick AINA is a computing and technologies enthusiast, and a seasoned network engineer with degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
He began his entrepreneurial journey in 1999 by founding one of the first IT service and engineering companies in the Togolese Republic—Technologies Réseaux & Solutions (TRS), which provides services and solutions in network architecture, information systems security, and capacity building.
Under his leadership, TRS has supported numerous companies and initiatives across the African continent in adopting new technologies. Building on this success, he founded Digital Intelligence Services, a company focused on digital transformation and evolved solutions from TRS offerings.
Mr. AINA is a member of the international technical team of the Network Startup Resource Center (NSRC) and serves as a DNSSEC Roadshow consultant for ICANN in the region.
As Chief Technology Officer, he played a key role in establishing the first regional Education and Research Network for West and Central Africa. He also served the African Internet Registry (AFRINIC) for 11 years in multiple roles, including Acting CEO.
A retired AFNOG instructor, he now serves as co-convener of the initiative. He contributed to ICANN’s Security and Stability Advisory Committee for several years and was a member of the Security and Stability Review Team 2 (SSR2).
He has also served as a trusted community representative and “Crypto Officer” for DNSSEC at the root and was a member of the Internet Society Board of Trustees.
His unwavering commitment has earned him several recognitions, including the “Nii AWARD 2012” and the prestigious “Jonathan B. Postel Award” in 2019, among others from the global technical and scientific community.
